Fashion Do’s and Don’ts #4…The Muffin Top!!!

March 15, 2008

Usually this pertains to women, but in today’s society…men have a little more love to give! If you have on a pair of skin tight jeans, shorts, pants etc…Make sure your stomach is tucked in with your shirt or something. I have a jelly belly…I’m not fat, but my body does need some repair, maybe a few sit ups…and to keep that belly under wraps, I sometimes wear an under garment designed to push that gut in. When I have on looser fitting clothes, I don’t have to worry. But Ladies…and Gentlemen…when the side of your stomach is trying to act like a belt, then you need something to hold it back…Get a girdle, or do some sit ups…Better yet, ease up on all of the tight clothing and stick to your true size!!! It looks absolutely ridiculous to see a person with small hips and a wide back or abdomen. Can we even call it abdomen anymore? Usually when I hear that word I think of “Six Pack” or “Wash Board”…But back to the matter at hand. I too need to work out a little, but I am proud to say I do not have the infamous “Muffin Top” it makes the person look sloppy and extremely fat, even though 8 times out of 10, the person is just experiencing some abdominal issues. Spanx is a great product for women to wear when they have uncontrollable body parts. They have a wide variety of form fitting body suits to give you a little more confidence when you walk into a room. So with that being said… Visit your local department store and get a few packs. Make your outfit stand out in a good way…and don’t become a part of that “Muffin Top” Clan…Trust me, there are a lot of them out there!!!panttasticmain1412_228x390.jpg
