Zolpidem

Zolpidem is a prescription medicine formulated to help patients suffering from sleep problems to deal with them effectively. It is intended for normalization of your sleeping patterns and is supposed to be taken during a short period of time only. Take this medicine 5 minutes before going to bed and make sure you plan for at least 7-8 hours of sleep. If you get up after just a few hours of sleep you may experience memory problems and other health effects during the day. In some rare cases zolpidem may cause a severe allergic reaction. Such a reaction is possible if you have ah history of an allergic reaction to zolpidem but take this medicine anyway. Make sure you notify your local emergency center of any of the following symptoms of a severe allergic reaction: difficulty breathing, hives and swelling of your face, lips, tongue etc. Some people taking this medicine sometimes reported strange situations happening to them – they were walking, doing some activities, talking on the phone etc. later having no recollections about anything of the kind. If you notice something similar is happening to you – talk to your doctor about the dose of zolpidem you are taking and possibility of a dose adjustment.
